How cool it was to
actually be on the floor of the State House of Representatives! Usually we have to view the floor from the gallery, but because Representative Mirabito hosted our tour we got to go right down to where the Speaker of the House sits. Can you see Thaddeus Stevens in the painting in the background? He is the tall man in lower left with his arm outstretched.
Representative Mirabito was wonderful with the students. He spoke with them about being our future and how important it is for them to make good choices and to serve others.

How exciting it must have been to be on the actual floor of representatives!!!
I heard that everyone had a great time and was well-mannered!!!
Way to go for making Stevens School Proud. I am just sorry that I did not get to go with you all this year!
