A busy Thursday

We are using the Buddy Study method to learn spelling words and spelling concepts this year. One day each week the students will spend 20-30 minutes "building" their words with small, manipulative letters (As you can see in these photos). This is a great way to really get the spelling concept and word into their thinking. This is only one way that 4th grade practices their spelling words. Each day they practice their spelling words in a different - specific way - until the 5th day of the cycle when they take their spelling test.
